The result?
I was bushwhacked, scalped, and left for dead.
ARGH!!!!!!
I said chin length. Evidently my chin is up near my ears now. Like any experienced scalper, she'd taken off the hair faster then I could say Zane Grey.
And they say the western is dead. HUMPH!
I may have hardly any hair now, but at least it's more incentive to write. Though I never had a taste for scalping scenes. Now I know why.

I know just how you feel, Brenda! I wore mine long for years and years. Now that it is short, I hate it, but everyone else tells me I look better with short hair at my age, so I've kept it that way. I miss my long hair, though! LOL!
Dude, a little pixie cut. I've never seen your hair that short. I bet it looks cute, post pictures.
