Do You Psyche Yourself Out During A Writing Vacation

Reading a post today over at Writer Unboxed got me to wondering...

How often do you plan time off for a writing holiday but when the time comes you psych yourself out and don't make any meaningful progress?

If this happens to you, isn't it one of the most annoying things ever?  I know it is common for me and drives me absolutely bonkers.  Time is so precious I hate to waste it.

What tips and helpful hints do you recommend for a successful writing holiday?  I'd love to hear how you make it work for you.
